Photographic Centre Peri, founded in 1987, is an open meeting place for everyone interested in lens based art.

Peri’s gallery, office and library are situated in the Wäinö Aaltonen Museum of Art in Turku, Finland. Around ten photographic art exhibitions are shown in the gallery annually. Artist initiated events, workshops, talks and discussions are arranged in connection to the exhibitions.


Photographic centres in Finland

Photographic centres are associations that work for spreading knowledge of photography and especially photographic art. In addition to Peri, there are nine other photographic centre’s in Finland:
